The brief

Herts Valleys CCG and East and North Hertfordshire CCG wish to engage with providers with expertise and experience to deliver the following wheelchair services for residents within Hertfordshire who have long-term mobility problems: • Clinical assessment and prescription, review and re-assessment • Purchase and provision of equipment, modification and adaptation of equipment to meet individual needs • Repair and maintenance including planned preventative maintenance, delivery, collection and training, refurbishment.

Market Engagement Event: 14th October 2016 Providers in the market place will have the opportunity to meet and talk to Herts Valleys CCG and East and North Hertfordshire CCG staff and patient representatives involved in the commissioning of this service.

It is expected that the market event will be an interactive session, providing an overview of the existing service and current prevalence, and will seek ideas, suggestions and comments as to what the new service could provide and how it could be delivered.

This event is intended only to gather information from the market, and to request information which may be relevant to the development of any eventual procurement strategy/tender.
