Pilot Care Leaver Mentoring Scheme

This is an invitation to quote for a one year contract to train and support a pilot mentorship scheme for Care Leavers.

This will involve Care Leaver specific mentoring training for 10 mentors to be matched to 10 Care Leavers between the age of 18-25 to support their Employment, Education, Training and personal aspirational goals.

Working over the year to provide high level support and high quality experience for both mentors and mentees.

Mentors will meet mentees approximately once a month, dependent on needs and circumstances, over a 12 month period with a defined ending, to focus on targets generated by mentees with evidenced progression by the end of the scheme.

The winning bid will work with Cambridgeshire County Council and Cambridge Regional College to implement this programme.

This pilot scheme initiative is being implemented to evidence the success of mentors to Care Leavers and we plan to evaluate the results of the pilot scheme and look to expand the scheme following the conclusion of the pilot.
