Tuition Services - Market Engagement

Thurrock Council invites prospective suppliers to participate in a market engagement event in anticipation of a forthcoming tender for the provision of Tutoring services.

This initiative aims to cater to the educational needs of children and young people without a school placement or with Special Educational Needs or disabilities (SEND).

The Council seeks to establish a diverse pool of providers capable of delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient Tuition Services beyond the confines of the enrolled school.

This includes providing education when a child is not formally registered with a school.

The service is designed for children unable to attend school, or where external one-to-one tuition or group-based alternative provision is deemed more suitable for their learning needs.

To facilitate engagement and dialogue, a market engagement event will be hosted, providing an opportunity for interested providers to familiarise themselves with the borough, understand the service requirements, and engage in meaningful discussions with commissioners regarding service development.
