The Science Museum Group wishes to appoint a Supplier in order to purchase Zebra Scanners and their accessories for a replacement hardware project across the group.
Axiell Move is used in the management of our collection.
Using a scanned barcode, it talks directly to the Collections Management system (MIMSY) to update object locations accurately and efficiently when they are moved.
Axiell Move was designed for iPods.
The iPod is end of life/no longer in production.
The supplier has introduced Android device capability.
SMG needs to replace iPods with Zebra TC22 Handheld devices.
Devices will be purchased and distributed to several teams across all sites, creating a group-wide device standard and management approach.
There are additional addons which could improve the functionality and use of these devices.
Along with devices, we also require your offer of warranty and support for the devices.
