The brief

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey ("the PCC for Surrey") on behalf of itself and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex ("the PCC for Sussex"), wishes to select and appoint a suitable Successful Tenderer for the provision for a bespoke Job Evaluation Process and a Pay Scale Review.

The Invitation to Tender (ITT) split into 2 Lots: - Lot 1 relates to design a new job evaluation process.

Surrey Police and Sussex Police (together "the Authorities") will own the Intellectual Property Rights for the whole of the new job evaluation process and be able to operate it self-sufficiently.

The successful supplier is required to train our HR personnel to be able to conduct the job evaluations in house.

The successful supplier is also required, as requested, to support our HR personnel by undertaking evaluations themselves throughout the duration of the contract. - Lot 2 relates toto the provision of a service to review, make recommendations and/or provide a test and challenge to identified parts of a pay structure, e.g. grading structure and associated pay mechanisms, e.g. market related supplements as required by Surrey Police and/or Sussex Police at any time during the contract term.
