Mental Health Supported Accommodation (Morley Road)
The Council is seeking to recommission the supported accommodation for people with a range of mental health issues, which consists of 8 self-contained units situated on a residential street on the outskirts of Doncaster, DN1 (landlord Sanctuary Housing).
The service will support clients to maintain health, independence and choice and control over their lives with a particular, but not exhaustive, focus on enabling clients to understand and manage their mental health, sustain their accommodation, maximise their finances, meet their potential aspirations and develop and maintain social contact.
This focus will enable clients to live independently, prevent homelessness, social exclusion, relapse and crisis admissions to hospital and enable recovery and rehabilitation.
The service shall be part of a recovery-based model of support, which enables client to take ownership of their lives.
