The brief

NICE currently have 2 data centres hosting physical server estates.

Both estates are operating old equipment which we are looking to replace.

These estates are currently: - Manchester NICE office (City Tower) - London hSo data centre (Gosling Road) Instead of moving the existing server equipment from our current City Tower office - we would like the new equipment to be delivered and installed into the new Piccadilly Place office.

We will be taking possession of the office at the end of September 2024 and would want delivery around mid Octobe 2024 (dates may vary).

The scope does not include decommissioning and disposal of the existing Manchester server equipment.

However, given the office move at the end of 2024, we would not want to carry out the replacement of the server equipment in London until early 2025.

We would want delivery around end of January 2025 (dates may vary).

The equipment would be a switch out of existing hardware; which would need to be decommissioned and disposed of (and wiped) by a compliant WEEE carrier.

A key requirement is that all purchased hardware must be identical for both sites to ensure consistency between both sites.

If any of the equipment ended up being different versions, the supplier would be responsible for rectifying this at their cost.

We require the equipment to be stored until required in each site as outlined in the information above.

All equipment must be evidenced as having been received, appropriately stored and fully insured (for audit purposes).

Application is via RM6098 - Lot 2 Server Hardware.
