The brief

Job Title: Cook Rate of Pay: ?12.18ph Hours: 27 hours per week (see rota) Location: Fountain Court, Millpool Way, Bearwood, Smethwick, West Midlands, B66 4HW Start Date: 3rd October 2024.

Brief description: Fountain Court is a 16 bedded residential unit for people with dementia.

We are looking for a Cook to work 27hrs per week.

The role will include leading a small team to ensure that the wellbeing of the service users is maintained by providing well-planned nutritious meals and that special diets are catered for.

The successful candidate will need to operate within the set budget, ensure all health and safety and environmental health standards are achieved and our 5-star rating is maintained.

There are exciting changes to the service we operate at present, which will be an interesting challenge for the post holder as their input and organisational skills will be required.

Candidates must: - Possess NVQ level 2 or 3 in Food Preparation/Catering and Food Hygiene. - Have Experience of catering within a commercial or care setting. - Have knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene regulations. - Be over 18 years of age.

Inside IR35 An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.

Candidates must be able to work the hours detailed in the rolling rota.

27 hours per week Week 1: Mon 7.30-3.00 / Tues 7.30-2.30 / Wed 7.30-3.00 / Sat 7.30-2.30 Week 2: Sun 7.30-2.30 / Tues 7.30-3.00 / Wed 7.30-3.00 / Fri 7.30-2.30 Please can the agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references and a copy of Terms and Conditions.

You will also need to include your agency on cost details to each submission.

Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.

You will receive further information regarding invoice terms if your candidate is appointed to this role.

Payments are then released 14 days from the date of the invoice.
