Data Centre
The Council wishes to procure a competent and experienced provider for the design and delivery, including all preparatory works and post-acceptance planned preventative maintenance of a new data centre at an existing operational location within the known limitations of a single back-up generator and single mains supply.
The Project is divided into 2 phases: Phase 1 - comprises the design, build and testing (including acceptance testing) of new on-premises data centre.
This will include site clearance, area preparation and deployment of new systems; as well as training of Employer staff (Council) and increased support during the ICT equipment transition/relocation.
This will also include the evaluation of existing critical and essential power loadings and outlining a scope of works required for the decommissioning and uninstallation of the existing ICT Server room.
Phase 2 - comprises the Planned Preventative and reactive maintenance services and emergency call-out services over a period of 5 years from the end of Phase 1.
