The brief

HMPPS, as part of the justice system, plays a crucial role in society.

HMPPS protects the public, maintains safe and secure prisons and reduces the risk that people will reoffend.

We work together to help people to live law abiding and positive lives.

HMPPS delivers the government's vision and investment to make prisons places of safety and reform and to ensure probation services support the rehabilitation of offenders while protecting the public.

We provide safe and supportive environments, where people work through the reasons that caused them to offend and prepare for a more positive future.

The Psychology Services Group (PSG) provides evidence-based, psychological, and therapeutic services to support people in custody and on probation, aimed at reducing their risk of harm and reoffending.

It is one of the largest training organisations for Forensic Psychologists.

Staff provide a HMPPS-wide specialist service and defensible evidence to support decision-making and influence operational policy at a National, Regional, and local level.

Psychological services are largely broken down into assessment, intervention, training, research/projects, and consultancy advice and support.

Following recent Market Engagement for wider Psychology Services requirements (Notice references: ntc_8923, ntc_8924), HMPPS are now seeking to further engage with the market in consideration of potential procurement options for: 1.

Healthy Sex Programme (HSP) Delivery and Supervision; and 2.

Reports Services.

We are keen to hear from interested suppliers to understand market appetite, capability and capacity for these requirements, and to understand the views of the market around commercial models that we are currently exploring for future provision of each requirement, by inviting interested suppliers to take part in a market engagement questionnaire to support the development of our procurement(s).

In order to complete the questionnaire, you will need some additional information which further explains the requirements and provides some detail around the commercial models that we are currently exploring and would like your views on.

If you would like to complete the questionnaire, please email the address below to receive a copy of the additional information that you will need to consider: MoJProcurement.Off@justice.gov.uk The link for the market engagement questionnaire can be found below: https://forms.office.com/e/0iQv2VYbdw The deadline for completion of the market engagement questionnaire for these services is 12:00hrs on Monday 6th January 2025.
