Synopsis: The University requests tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified suppliers to establish a contract agreement for the design, build, installation, supply, commissioning, and user training of a flexible and automated multiphoton laser system capable of performing Stimulated Raman Scattering microscopy for biological applications.
The equipment will be integrated with an existing laser scanning confocal microscope fitted with a lock-in detection system and located inside the CONTRAST HydRa Imaging Facility at the University of Nottingham.
Objectives: To secure value for money goods and services for the University; o Establish a contract which agrees quality, price, delivery timescales, installation schedule, and aftermarket services in accordance with the University's requirements. o To maximise recycling, reduce packaging, and reduce emissions related to deliveries in line with our sustainable procurement ambitions. o To enhance the environmental sustainability of the equipment infrastructure from strategic planning, construction, and usage to maintenance and decommissioning. o Eliminate risk of Modern-Day slavery within the supply chains.
Estimated Value: Estimated value for design, manufacture, delivery, installation, warranty, import, and duty, is between ?150- ?300k + Value Added Tax
