Provision of Specialist GP Services in Leicester
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England Midlands & East (Central Midlands), NHS Leicester City CCG and NHS East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG (referred to as The Commissioners from this point onwards) are inviting suitably qualified and experienced Providers to deliver the Specialist GP services within Leicester City and East Leicestershire and Rutland For Leicester City ASSIST Service.
Leicester City CCG is the overall ('commissioner') for the Leicester City Homeless Service.
Any contract arising from this procurement will be between the successful Provider and NHS England (National Health Service Commissioning Board) and NHS Leicester City CCG as delegated commissioners on behalf of NHS England.
The Provider must provide all essential, additional enhanced services to all patients registered with the practice at the point of commencement.
The successful Bidder will be awarded an Alternative Provider of Medical Services (APMS) contract for each LOT that will meet the technical and financial requirements for NHS England Midlands & East (Central Midlands), LC CCG and NHS East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG.
As a result of this procurement an agreement will be established with the successful Bidder(s) for Leicester City ASSIST Service for a period of 5 years, there will be no option to extend the contract period.
As a result of this procurement an agreement will be established with the successful Provider for the Leicester City Homeless Service for a period of 5 years, with an option to extend the contract for up a further 2 years, the contract extension will be subject to a review of the delivery and performance of the contract.
The estimated core contract value will be: LOT 1 Leicester City ASSIST Service - £2,304,010.00, LOT 2 Leicester City Homeless Service - £3,080,000, the contract extension would result in the contract value increasing to £7,392,000.
It is envisaged that TUPE will apply to the contract.
