The will include the provision of a range of grounds maintenance and tree management services split into 3 Disciplines across 11 Lots: Discipline 1 - Grounds Maintenance Lot 1A.1 - East Region Inner Lot 1A.2 - East Region Outer Lot 1B.1 - South Region Inner Lot 1B.2 - South Region Outer Lot 1C.1 - West Region North Hub Lot 1C.2 - West Region Outer Hub Lot 1C.3 - West Region SW Hub Discipline 2 - Tree Consultancy Lot 2 - all Regions Discipline 3 - Tree Maintenance Lot 3A. - East Region Lot 3B. - South Region Lot 3C. - West Region Works/services to be provided under the Contracts are (but are not limited to): Grounds Maintenance o Grass cutting removing excess arisings o Grass maintenance to include weed control, litter and leaf removal o Horticultural maintenance to borders and beds to include weed control, litter and leaf removal o Pruning and hedge cutting o Replanting o Hard surface maintenance to include cleaning, litter, algae, moss and weed removal o Maintain and report on hard surface condition and safety, carrying out minor repairs o Inspect all external surfaces, structures and features reporting on their condition o External litter removal and bin emptying o Graffiti removal o Cleaning of bin stores and paladins (where a Site is not serviced by a separate cleaning c contract) o Minor tree care o Dilapidation repair work Tree Consultancy o Site Safety/Defect surveys (Phase One) o Detailed site surveys o Reactive site inspections o Individual tree inspections/internal decay investigations o Woodland management planning to meet L&Q responsibilities Tree Maintenance o Crown lifting to clear roads, footpaths and property access. o Tree pruning to abate encroachment to buildings/property. o Removal of dead or declining trees or other significant defects. o Cyclical Pollarding/Basal growth removal. o Woodland management works to include coppicing/thinning etc.
