NHS Federated Data Platform
NHS England is planning to go to the market for a Federated Data Platform (FDP), which will be an essential enabler to transformational improvements across the NHS.
The FDP will be an ecosystem of technologies and services implemented across the NHS in England. The FDP will be built on five use cases: 1.
Population health and person insight 2.
Care coordination (ICS) 3.
Elective recovery (Trust) 4.
Vaccines and immunisation and 5) Supply Chain It is anticipated that the scope of this procurement will comprise two lots: 1.
The FDP itself, with ICS integration and consultancy and communications support for ICS implementation and adoption 2.
Privacy-enhancing technology It is anticipated that this procurement will follow the open procedure, as detailed in regulation 27 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
