The brief

17/134 - Optometry - Ophthalmic Diagnostic Instruments The University of Portsmouth is in the process of equipping a state of the art eye clinic to support the provision of high quality eye and vision care and to support the delivery of the Masters in Optometry programme.

In order to provide world leading ophthalmic care, the University of Portsmouth is seeking to procure a number of pieces of diagnostic equipment for the examination of the internal eye, external eye and assessment of visual function.

This tender is for the provision of key diagnostic instruments for used within the public facing eye clinic.

Scope of Services Required This tender is split into 5 lots.

Lot 1- Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomographer Lot 2 - Ultra Widefield Retinal Camera, Lot 3 - Automated Perimeter Lot 4 - Kinetic Perimeter Lot 5 - Non-Contact Tonometer However, for Lot 2 we would also require a proposal for lease options.

Suppliers may apply for single or multiple lots.

The lots will be assessed individually but we will also consider looking for a package price for multiple lots.

We reserve the right to award individual lots or select the awardee/s on the most economically advantageous offer received.

Fulfilment of this tender will require all the described lots for this tender to be delivered and installed/commissioned before the deadline of w/c 23rd July 2018, this is a mandatory requirement of this tender.

Should you not be able to meet this deadline you will be excluded from the process.

The University reserves the right to purchase additional equipment within the scope of this contract at a later date i.e. upgrades or future requirements that are linked to the products within this contract.
