SOL - Carer Support Service Market Engagement
The Council is intending to commission a service to support unpaid carers.
We will be looking for a service provider to offer this service to people referred from both the Children's and Adults Directorates.
The scope of the service is currently under review and may contain: o Provision of assessment services, o Provision training and information services both face to face and online, o Provision of wellbeing services, combating isolation, improving mental wellbeing, peer support groups both online and face to face, o Provision of support to Young Carers - activity groups etc., o Provision of support for Parent Carers, o Contingency planning / emergency support.
