Senior Leadership Development
The Purchaser is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT for the co-development and provision of a Senior Leadership Programme, initially to be offered to Executive level roles.
The University, in conjunction with a number of other similar universities, intends to commission a Senior Leadership Programme and seeks a supplier with a proven track record at the highest level in this field.
Given the group consists of existing high performing institutions with strong leaders already in place, the programme needs to provide sufficient stretch and ambition.
It is also essential that there is a global dimension to the programme and some longevity and sustainability.
Sector orientated Leadership Development Programmes have for some years been the usual development route and have served the sector well.
As the programme continues to expand and the sector further diversifies, it is necessary to look at alternatives, which reflect the growing international nature of the sector and the needs of specific types of institution.
The initial aim of the Senior Leadership Programme is to develop and deliver a tailored programme of senior leadership development that stimulates development and collaboration within a consortium of like-minded institutions.
The overall aim being to ensure that senior leaders who aspire to progress their careers receive the development and support required to ensure a ready supply of very senior leaders into the consortium.
There will be an initial annual cohort of around 15 candidates, the intention being that these will be selected and put forward by institutions within the consortium The University seeks proposals from suitably-experienced providers outlining how they can provide this service to co-develop and deliver the programme.
Previous experience must include references for delivery of Senior Academic Leaders programmes in institutions within the Global Top 100 along with demonstration of a strong existing network within the Global Top 100, particularly in North America and Australia.
