The brief

Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a contractor to provide woodland creation and maintenance services for the next three years.

The expected number of trees to be planted at sites will range from 20,000 to 150,000 per annum over the contract term.

This will occur in accordance with UK Forestry Standard compliant woodland creation design plans (WCDP) and the Council has already appointed a contractor to produce these plans..

As the plans are still in development, contractors will be asked to submit bids based on hypothetical pricing and annual order values, with final detailed specifications provided to the successful contractor at project initiation.

Contractors are required to submit a schedule of rates/fees regarding woodland creation and tree maintenance services against which the Council could place orders.

Suppliers who wish to participate in this process need to register with the Buckinghamshire Business Portal and will be unable to take part if not registered.
