Consultancy Support in the Development of a Rural Strategy for Carlisle and Eden Districts

Carlisle City Council and Eden District Council Are seeking to appoint a Consultant to support the development of a rural strategy and action plan covering the two districts.

The following services are required • Attendance at project team meetings (circa 8 meetings, bi-monthly) • Development of a baseline document for Rural Carlisle and Eden that will inform the development of the strategy and can be also be used for future monitoring and evaluation purposes. • Facilitation of an initial workshop with Eden and Carlisle members to scope out the vision and objectives of the Strategy • The development and implementation of a stakeholder engagement plan, including circa 4 workshop sessions (2 in each district) with resident and business communities to o test and provide feedback on the vision, objectives o provide feedback on the draft strategy and action plan • The production…
