The brief

The services required are a provider of an evidence-based and quality assured intervention which the perpetrator must attend as a mandatory condition of a caution.

This service must fulfil the pre-conditions specified in the CPS guidance.

The second service is for a domestic abuse specialist service case worker/s to provide support to victim/survivors throughout the pilot for enhanced risk assessment and ongoing monitoring and support.

The pilot will be evaluated by MOPAC's Evidence and Insight team and will contribute to the local evidence base on what works to hold perpetrators of domestic abuse to account.

The tender will be for a maximum combined value of £450,000 for a one-year contract with an option to extend for one year.

The contract start date is estimated for Jan 2025, with service delivery due to commence on 1 April 2025.

This requirement falls under the Light Touch Regime (those set out in Schedule 3 - Social and other specific services of the PCR 2015), and has a value below those set out in Regulation 5 PCR 2015.
