CAST Laboratory Glassware Washers

Home Office CAST (Centre for Applied Science and Technology) is part of the Home Office Science group.

CAST has a requirement for two under Bench Laboratory Glassware Washers, as detailed in Appendix B – Statement of Requirements. • All quotes must include installation and training/demonstration session. • The supplier must be able to supply consumables as required, including the bottles of alkaline detergent and acid-based neutraliser. • The supplier must be able to carry out after sales care – including repairs, preventative maintenance and servicing and service visit each year over the three year period. • Both machines must come with at least a 12 month warranty. • We will NOT require any IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification) testing of the machines. • All suggested configurations of baskets etc. would need to be checked and approved by CAST before purchase is agreed.
