Employment Land Review Tender Brief

As part of preparing the evidence base of the Local Plan Review, the Council is seeking to commission consultants to undertake a number of key evidence-based studies which will provide the Council with a clear understanding around housing and employment requirements for the district.

Exploring these matters will consist of 4 separate studies: A: Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA).

B: Gypsy & Travelling showpeople Accommodation Assessment (GTAA).

C: Establishing the Housing Requirement for Lancaster District.

D: Lancaster District Employment Land Review - which the is subject of this brief.

All four studies are currently out for tender.

Consultants are invited to tender for individual studies or a combination of studies where expertise and capacity allow.

Each study will however be procured separately and assessed on its own merit.
