Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking a provider with expertise in delivering community-based assets and domestic abuse support to act as a specialist provider to support the Council in delivery of the community-based support for victims of domestic abuse.
The aims of the service are to: -Assist the Council and to hold an number of workshops, providing specialist knowledge and advice to inform local professionals, community groups and/or individuals about domestic abuse -Support the Council in launching the Community Fund -The Provider also be the link for Community Fund Providers and act as a point of contact, providing specialist advice support, safeguarding advice and referral, and ongoing individual/group supervision. -Creatively raise awareness on the issues of domestic and emotional abuse.
