Leftwich and Rose Meadow - Natural Health
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits below the typical range for Agriculture, Forestry & Horticulture contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 3,317 valued Agriculture, Forestry & Horticulture tenders in our corpus.
This procurement relates to the delivery of funding to successful applicants to deliver programmes that support the "Natural Health Service" in conjunction with The Mersey Forest and Cheshire West and Chester Council's Tree's for Climate project, funded by DEFRA and coordinated by the Mersey Forest Team, to contribute towards local public health and climate needs. \r The Natural Health Service builds on an increasing body of evidence which shows that engagement with the natural environment has a positive effect on both physical and mental health.
It identifies and utilises the unique features of our borough's green spaces and tackles health inequalities by empowering and encouraging targeted, local people to adopt a preventive, self-care approach to health.\r \r
