Current situation The demand for Endoscopy services is above the current capacity of the unit.
Currently the unit has a shortfall of 16 lists per week.
This is putting increased pressure on the performance targets and requires an alternative solution to manage the capacity.
The requirement is to deliver sessions outside our core sessions to deliver extra capacity to meet our performance targets.
Scope and project aims Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LTHTR) wishes to invite offers for the provision of Endoscopy Consultant Services.
LTHTR has entered into an agreement with the Local Commissioner for the provision of a range of clinical services.
LTHTR now wishes to Sub-Contract provision of certain of these services to the Sub-Contractor.
