The brief

Leeds City College are looking for a supplier to provide testing, maintenance and repairs for the emergency lighting system at the properties which comprise Leeds City College.

The contractor will be expected to undertake inspections of each installation and issue a compliance checklist for each alongside a certification of verification for each existing installation.

Thereafter the contractor shall conduct routine inspections on a planned and scheduled basis to test the emergency lighting systems in keeping with statutory requirements and current best practise.

The contractor will provide regular updates through both reports and face to face management meetings with Estates staff to ensure that all emergency lighting remains in optimal condition and within statutory requirements for a facility of its type and size.

The contract shall be let for 24 months with a view to a possible 12 month extension at the mutual agreement of both parties.
