Due to the approaching expiry of an existing contract, the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham is inviting quotes from suitably experienced organisations with a proven track record in delivering high quality support and coordination services to multi agency teams and families with children who are under the age of three, who have complex social and communication difficulties.
The Council aims to provide a service, that offers support and practical assistance to the Way2Say team (a multi agency team) and families, within the Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
The service focuses on children who are under the age of three and who have complex social and communication difficulties.
The Way2Say service supports the empowering of children to communicate and to increase their confidence and independence.
The contractor will be responsible for providing administration support to the Way2say team, and will be expected to assist in the development and delivery of the Way2Say service.
There are two main activities under the Way2Say Service; the Way2Say group and the Way2Play group.
The new contract is expected to run for a period of one year, commencing in January 2016, with the opportunity to extend for a further two years (on a year + year basis), at the sole discretion of the council.
The award of the contract will be based on the most economically advantageous tender/quote.
Interested parties will be sent a quote pack, which must be completed and returned by no later than 10am, Thursday 30th April 2015.
