LBH - My Health Matters Service
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
The London Borough of Havering is looking to commission an organisation to raise health awareness amongst local residents and address health issues by training a cohort of Community Health Champions / Health Champion Volunteers to motivate residents to consider behaviour change and signpost them to available support and resources.
The service will work collaboratively with Havering's Voluntary Sector organisations and council funded services to target residents who would benefit from the service.
Following recent events, LBH would like the Provider to expand activities beyond lifestyle risk factors, considering community engagement and topics related to the COVID-19 pandemic, with special focus on ensuring services reach those most in need.
Adaptability will be essential as circumstances change with the continuing pandemic response.
