VEHICLE PARTS AND CONSUMABLE SUPPLY
SKDC are beginning the process of retendering for the supply of our vehicle parts and consumable supplies from 1st November 2023.
We have over 155 vehicles and a parts spend in excess of £377k.
To ensure local suppliers have an opportunity to tender, the total cost will be split into 4 lots Lot 1 - Vehicle parts and consumables under 3.5T GVW (Cars and Vans) Lot 2 - Vehicle parts and consumables over 3.5T GVW (7.5t - 32t Trucks) Lot 3 - Consumables (Oils, bolts, cable ties etc) Lot 4 - Specialist parts (Terberg, Dennis Eagle, OEM parts etc) Lots 1-3 are anticipated to be sole supplier lots with Lot 4 operating as a multi-supplier lot of approved suppliers.
The framework term will be 2+2 .
The main site for delivery of parts will be the workshops located in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
A full contract notice will be issued at the commencement of the actual tender process.
