Catering Services Framework Agreement
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the Hospitality & Catering band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 3,335 valued Hospitality & Catering tenders in our corpus.
Digital Catapult is seeking catering partner/s to supply a range of fresh, healthy and beautifully presented buffet style breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, as well as canapes for evening receptions and bespoke dinners across all its events.
It is important to note that catering services will be required when the events take place.
The catering partner is not expected to provide drinks unless in exceptional circumstances.
The Centre is a unique open plan space with great views across London, with no onsite cooking equipment and extremely limited food-preparation spaces, so successful caterers will work around these restrictions, preparing all or most catering entirely offsite, to be delivered ready to serve on arrival.Although this does not preclude hot food, the expectation is that most, if not all, food will be served cold.
Food can be re-heated only and no cooking is allowed.
Guest numbers for daytime events vary from 20-200; evening guests range from 20-200; bespoke dinners range from 10-20 people.
In exceptional circumstances, the Centre hosts evening events for up to 250 people.
Digital Catapult has undertaken an assessment of the ongoing requirements under this framework agreement and, in order to ensure supply high quality provisions, has deemed it to be suitable for division into two lots as follows: LOT 1 - Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Tea Provisions LOT 2 - Canapes for Evening Reception and Bespoke Dinners Bidders are therefore invited to submit a proposal for any one or both lots.
It is anticipated that a maximum of two (2) catering suppliers will be appointed to each Lot of the Framework Agreement (and a supplier may be on one or more of the Lots).
The initial Contract term shall be for a period of one (1) year with an option for Digital Catapult to extend for up to two (2) further periods of up to six (6) months each, at its discretion.
Digital Catapult does not guarantee any volume or value of work from this Catering Services Framework Agreement.
However, based on approximate historical spend, it is anticipated that the maximum total value (including any extensions) for this Framework may be in the region of 180,000 GBP.
