South Holland District Council owns 3800 dwellings in its district of which some of the tenants may exercise the statutory Right to Buy under the Housing Act 1985.
Part of our obligation is to arrange and pay for the valuations that need to take place so the tenant can decide if they wish to proceed with the purchase of the property.
As such, valuations must be undertaken by an external valuer independent of the Council or the tenant exercising their Right to Buy option.
