The Forestry Commission is shortly due to tender for a framework agreement for the provision of a Plant Health inspection service for controlled wood, wood products and isolated bark entering Great Britain, in order to protect our woodlands and trees from harmful pests and diseases.
This framework agreement will also provide a service for woodland and tree surveys, potentially including urban trees, to detect, assess and sample for the presence of specific tree pests and diseases in Great Britain.
