Prior Information Notice (PIN) for the provision of Public Health Lead Employer Services - Health Education England, London and South East - NHS/SoEPS/17.360

NHS South of England Procurement Services (SoEPS), acting on behalf of Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) will be commencing a tender for the provision of Public Health Lead Employer Services.

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners intention.

HEE London & South East (HEE LaSE) is looking to procure a single Lead Employer for all its Public Health Specialty Trainees whilst working across Hospital based placements and placements with non-NHS organisations (in particular with Local Authorities).

HEE London & South East is looking to procure a new Lead Employer for an initial contract term of three years, with the option to extend for a further two years.

The ITT is expected to be published on 27 October 2017.

A separate advert will be released advising of this.

The commissioner reserves the right not to proceed with the Procurement, or any part thereof, or change the requirements as necessary at any time.

It is the intention of the commissioner that the procurement will be conducted as on OJEU Service Contract using an Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

The estimated contract value is: £50,600 - £61,600 per year (including VAT) - full term of three years plus option to extend by a further two years.

Maximum £253,000 - £308,000 over term of five years.

The above figures are based on a management fee ranging between £460 - £560 per trainee.
