The work comprises: Internal refurbishment of the passive fire protection within Cannock Chase Civic Centre including, but not exclusively, modifying and improving the fire rating of 91 timber fire rated doors and 430 identified compartmentation deficiencies across seven floors.
All work carried out is to be in accordance with the passive fire survey report appended within this tender specification.
The work involved will be making good holes and penetrations within walls and partitions above suspended ceilings created for services infrastructure.
The passive fire protection will extend to also renovating and replacing fire doors / frames.
