Research - Carbon Leakage and Competitveness impacts of carbon abatement policy in aviation
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the upper-middle of the Research & Development band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 20,405 valued Research & Development tenders in our corpus.
The project analyses carbon leakage and competitive distortions from domestic policy measures for carbon abatement from aviation.
It develops a general methodology to quantify the scale of carbon leakage and competitive distortions from a range of UK-specific aviation polices specified by DFT.
It also evaluates the impacts of carbon leakage and competitive distortions through differences in ticket prices between flights departing from the UK and other countries, which might result from unilateral UK polices.
The results will be presented in a final report, as well as modelling outputs being presented in excel formats.
