CDHG - Provision of Scaffolding Works
This framework is for the provision of scaffolding works to County Durham Housing Group, for an initial duration of 24 months, with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months.
CDHG will appoint a maximum number of three suppliers to the framework.
Following this procurement exercise a maximum of three suppliers who achieve the highest evaluation score will be awarded a position on this framework in ascending order of the scores achieved.
All projects awarded for either a 'call off' or 'further competition' will be based on the Terms and Conditions detailed in paragraph 13, of the Invitation to Tender Document and the tender responses submitted by each bidder during the formal tender process.
CDHG makes no guarantee to any member of the framework that they will be awarded any project and no guarantee is made in respect of any volume of work under any such agreements, or in aggregate under the framework agreement.
Each bidder should understand that the acceptance of a tender by CDHG and to the subsequent entry onto the framework agreement by CDHG with a bidder merely affords the bidder the opportunity (but not the obligation) to respond to further competition invitation from CDHG to enter into project specific call offs.
Under £5,000 projects and urgent / emergency projects The supplier placed in first position on the framework, following the tender exercise will be awarded each call off up to the value of £5,000, or any call off which is classified as urgent or an emergency (irrespective of cost).
However, CDHG at it absolute discretion, reserves the right to carry out further competitions with suppliers on the framework for any value of project.
Time is of the essence when undertaking these types of works, provided under the framework.
Therefore if the first placed supplier is unable to undertake the works provided within the agreed timescales CDHG will approach the next ranked supplier and so on until a supplier is able to undertake the requirements.
Further Competitions For any project which CDHG estimates to cost in excess of £5,000, a further competition exercise will be undertaken.
All suppliers awarded onto the framework will be invited to take part in each further competition.
Each further competition will be based on a 100% price evaluation.
The supplier who submits the lowest bid for each further competition will be awarded the project.
