Framework for Field Monitoring, Sampling and analysis Services
This sits in the upper-middle of the Engineering & Architecture band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 33,646 valued Engineering & Architecture tenders in our corpus.
The Contract comprises of undertaking field monitoring, taking samples and the provision of chemical analysis of samples, including the supply and delivery of sampling materials and equipment, the collection of samples from various areas within the UK and the provision of a results certificate of analyses in respect of mine water and related analysis.
The vast majority of the Authority's mine water sampling is undertaken by its own staff and term contractors; typically the Scientific Services contractor will only take samples from a few sites mainly for non routine activities or specific projects.
The Authority also has occasional requirements to sample matrices other than environmental waters; these might include ferric sludge from treatment scheme settlement lagoons, soils, especially colliery spoil, gas, and radiological sampling.
The Authority expects all reported analytical results to be of the highest quality since important decisions can be influenced by the results.
The tender will be undertaken via the Authority's eTender portal, details on how to access the information can be found on the attachment provided
