Commissioning Guidance and Best Practice Toolkit on Autism
The Department of Health and Social Care is looking to engage a supplier to develop commissioning guidance on autism and an accompanying best practice toolkit for local health and care commissioners.
The aim of this work would be to produce a concise, easily accessible online product, which synthesises existing NICE guidelines, standards and best practice examples regarding how to commission effective, high quality services for autistic adults.
This will include setting out care pathways and service models to support timely diagnosis of autism and effective post-diagnosis services.
