Provision of Highway Maintenance & Minor Highway Improvement Works and Street Lighting & MinorImprovement Works

The Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Haringey (the "Council") is inviting Tenders for the Provision of Highway and Street Lighting requirements in accordance with the Invitation to Tender documentation (ITT).

The procurement shall be in two Lots as outlined below.

Lot 1 - Highway maintenance and minor highway improvement works Lot 2 - Street Lighting and minor improvement works Tenderers are therefore required to tender for either or both Lots as shown above.

Tenderers should note that the Council shall request a discount (associated with economies of scale) if a Tenderer is awarded both Lots.

The contract term shall be eight (8) years for each lot made up of an initial four (4) year term with an option to extend for further two (2) plus two (2) years at the Council's absolute discretion and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Contract.

The Highway and Street Lighting Contract (in two lots) will be the only Term Contract to be let by the Council for the provision of these services/works on the Public Highway.

The Council, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to place works in these categories outside the Contract through individually tendered contracts for works packages in excess of £500,000 in value.

However the scope of works cannot be pre-determined and no undertaking will be given regarding volume or overall value of works. the Council may make available a depot space as a part of this contract.

Internal discussions are taking place and should be completed by the time of the Tender Briefing week commencing 24th September 2018.
