In order to pursue objectives of low carbon generation, price security, and resilience of supply, Salisbury NHSFT are seeking an operator to design, install, manage and maintain an overhead solar / PV array to be located on the two main car parks at the Salisbury Hospital site.
The Trust is looking to contract on a long-term partnership basis, recognising that the technology investment required on the part of the contractor will deliver a relatively long payback period for them.
Capital investment is not available from the Trust for this project, hence the offering of a guaranteed unit price and full usage of all electricity produced by the installation. .
