City Centre Public Realm Improvements Phase 4 Stafford Street/Crown Bank and Victoria Hall apron Stoke-on-Trent City Council, as part of its continuing investment in the City Centre, is tendering the next phase of public realm improvement works.
This project is to be delivered over two separate areas, the first being Stafford Street and Crown Bank, the second being the Victoria Hall on John Street.
The Stafford Street/Crown Bank site is a busy retail and commercial area, with high numbers of pedestrians and buses passing through.
The works involve the reconstruction of existing footways and paved areas with high-quality granite paving to match that delivered on previous phases in the City Centre, as well as reducing the width of the Stafford Street carriageway.The Victoria Hall site is situated next to the City Centre bus station and also sees significant numbers of pedestrians and buses on the adjacent streets.
The works here involve reconstruction of the existing paving around the Lidice Way frontages of the Victoria Hall concert and events venue with paving materials to complement those used around the bus station.
