The purpose of this exercise is to gather feedback from the market prior to formally publishing the Invitation to Tender for the BEIS Climate Services for a Net-Zero resilient World contract.

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is intending to procure a research, evidence, and translation programme to provide climate services for its workstreams.

The programme will provide up-to-date policy-relevant evidence and scientific advice to inform a range of international and domestic policy issues.

The service will provide transdisciplinary underpinning new analysis and modelling, covering a range of sectors including climate impacts, co-benefits of climate action, and decarbonisation pathways, as well as support in reviewing international climate science reports.

It will also provide a comprehensive user-centred translation service including use of innovative data visualisation tools and communications techniques.
