Provision Earth Observation Common Infrastructure
Ordnance Survey are seeking tenders for the provision of a data management solution prototype [see glossary for definition] that can provide OS with the ability to access, store, catalogue and query large volumes of aerial and satellite imagery in an efficient and consistent way.
The solution should support multi-epoch, time series datasets and show potential for extensions to other non-imagery data that could benefit from integration into a wider catalogue (e.g., point clouds).
This work will focus on the use of OS aerial imagery and freely available satellite data (e.g., Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, MODIS and Landsat) to assess both functionality and scalability.
Please see the Schedule 1 specification for full details.
