The brief

The purpose of this tender exercise is to select providers who can deliver Radiology Imaging Services that will represent value for money and a high quality of service to the patients of Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS Trust (WAHT).

Multiple providers may be appointed to support the delivery of the service dependent upon the capacity that is offered to the Trust.

The Radiology Department provides both examination and imaging services for the Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS Trust and the wider STP.

The contract will support the Trust's priority to maintain a high level of service and acceptable turnaround times for patients from diagnostic to results.

The provision of excellent healthcare to our patients is of paramount importance.

The Trust is committed to maintaining and improving services in the future.

The Trust has identified that it requires additional external support for MRI CT and USS examinations.

There is no guaranteed minimum activity level and any activity data noted within the Tender documentation is a best estimate of potential usage/requirements.
