The Forestry Commission is inviting tenders for a Development Phase Project Manager.
A consultant is sought to act as Project Manager for the one year development phase for the project ‘Trailing the Hidden Heritage of High Lodge’.
The Project Manager will work as part of the Project Team and in close liaison with the Finance Manager.
The Project Manager will • Oversee all aspects of the Development Phase and be responsible for the detailed planning which will lead to the Round 2 submission, extending and enhancing the work already undertaken for the Round 1 Application.
The deadline for completing the Round Two application and presenting to the FC is 31 March 2017. • Recruit, guide and monitor consultants and freelancers and ensure their work meets their briefs and feeds into the Activity Plan.
Whilst recruiting consultants good value for money should be achieved and all FC policies and procedures followed at all times. • Develop and foster partnerships with heritage, tourism and wildlife organisations and providers and stakeholders at High Lodge to create a sustainable network of co-operation and support. • Engage and train volunteers to help with surveys and research during the Development Phase and promote the project to the widest possible audience. • Attend the meetings of the Project Team and provide progress reports as required.
