The brief

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is committed to the role of the Regional Specialist Lead (RSL) to support individuals and providers across the further education and training sector, helping them to access appropriate maths and English training and resources to meet their needs.

Maths and English continues to be a high priority for the Foundation and we will be expanding our current offer.

The RSL work will continue to be delivered on ETF's behalf by Association of Colleges in the Eastern Region (ACER) and the RSL contract will be directly with ACER.

We are recruiting a RSL for the Yorkshire and Humber region only.

We will pay up to GBP30,000 (nominally two days a week, worked flexibly) to cover maths and English (which will include reasonable local travel expenses, mandatory attendance at 2 physical meetings and up to 6 virtual cross regional RSL meetings).

There will also be access to a centrally held budget for exceptional travel on demand.

For more details on the role and responsibilities, please see the job description.

The contract is expected to start in early May 2017 and run until 31 March 2018.

We would ideally like one individual to take on this strategic role for maths and English but would also consider job share applications.
