Subcontractor Framework Agreement
CORSERV is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced subcontractors to a Framework Agreement to supplement internal labour for core works and provide services for specialist works where currently no in-house skills or resources exist.
The scope of the works is mainly within highways maintenance, construction and civil engineering but will also include landscaping and facilities maintenance.
Between 3 and 5 subcontractors will be appointed to each individual lot (excepting lot 15 where up to 10 may be appointed); dependent on the number of successful bids.
Tenders will be assessed on 70% price and 30% quality and will have to meet the full requirements of the Specification and hold the trade certificates and operative qualifications relevant to the specific lot(s) they wish to bid for.
The lot titles and estimated annual spend are as follows; 1 Road Planing £1,500,000 2 Drilling and Blasting for the Quarry £150,000 3 Fire Alarms & Portables £60,000 4 Local Exhaust Ventilation £25,000 5 Elevator Engineers £20,000 6 Water Risk Assessments £35,000 7 Legionella (L8) Compliance Works £40,000 8 BMS Contractor £15,000 9 Lightning Conductor / Steeplejacks £15,000 10 Crane Hire Contract Lifts £20,000 11 Vacuum Excavation £10,000 12 Site Setting Out £500,000 13 Fencing, Timber, Palisade, Stock £150,000 14 Scaffolding £500,000 15 Operative Labour / Daywork £850,000 16 Grass Cutting £60,000 17 CCTV, Security & Access Systems £55,000 18 Mechanical and Plumbing £100,000 19 Electrical £100,000 20 General Builders / Building Maintenance £400,000 21 Painting / Decorating £25,000 22 PAT Testing £25,000 23 Pitch Roofing £50,000 24 Flat Roofing £100,000 25 Flooring £75,000 26 Glazing / Doors / Windows £115,000 27 Ventilation Cleaners £60,000 28 Ventilation Equipment £75,000 29 Refridgeration £90,000 30 Industrial Doors, Supply, Install, Maintain £25,000 31 Agricultural Water Services £50,000 The agreement will include an annual 2% rebate which bidders will need to agree to if participating in this tender.
The CORSERV group of companies will be able to access the agreement.
CORSERV will not offer any commitment or guarantee as to the business this will generate for individual contractors.
This will be entirely dependent on budgets and requirements, and the capacity of the internal workforce to deliver.
