Regulation 44 - Independent Visits (Children's Homes) Service
This sits below the typical range for Health & Social Care contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
The City of Wakefield Metropolitan District Council (the Council) invites tenders for the provision of a Service to conduct Independent Visits to each of the Council's Children's Homes in line with Regulation 44 of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 in accordance with the Service Specification and upon the terms and conditions of Contract for the Service.
The Contract for the Service with the current independent provider is due to expire on 30 June 2018.
The Contract period for the Regulation 44 - Independent Visits (Children's Homes) Service will be with effect from 1 July 2018 for a period of 24 months (with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months).
The Council anticipates that delivery of this Service will cost no more than £12,000 per annum based on the Council's current operation of 5 Children's Homes.
The number of homes, however, may vary upward or downward during the contract period and the value of services will reflect any changes in this number based on the unit cost per home per month.
