NHS Fully Funded Complex Care Provision (Nursing Home Setting) - Market Engagement

***THIS NOTICE IS FOR A MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT ONLY*** NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of the Black Country Clinical Commissioning Groups (which include NHS Wolverhampton CCG, NHS Sandwell & West Birmingham CCG, NHS Dudley CCG and NHS Walsall CCG) are holding a second market engagement event and wish to invite providers, who are able to deliver the provision of complex care in a nursing home setting.

The provision will be for individuals who are aged 18 years and over and have complex health care needs relating to Physical Disability, Mental Health and/or Learning Disabilities.

They will have been assessed as eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare, as defined by the National Framework for NHS Continuing HealthCare and NHS-Funded Nursing Care (2018).

The CCGs wish to work collaboratively with providers throughout the Black Country to further develop quality assured care for those individuals' with the highest care needs.

This event is a further opportunity for providers to meet with members of the 4 CCGs to understand their vision for future complex care delivery.

It is anticipated that the event will build on the first meeting held in early July and will allow commissioners to receive feedback regarding the service specification and the proposed payment mechanism.

Commissioners are in the process of finalising the draft service specification and the payment mechanism.

These will be issued to all interested providers who register on Eventbrite in advance of the event.

The Market Engagement Event(s) will be held in Walsall, West Midlands on Friday the 13th September 2019 between 13:00 and 16:00.

As the venue capacity is limited, attendance has been restricted to two representatives from each home / organisation.

Registration to attend for each session will be on a first come first service basis.
