The brief

Sefton Council are seeking to establish a Single Provider Framework Agreement, for the operation of a land based coastal remote sensing system to provide near continuous monitoring of the near shore and intertidal for a variety of coastal process and response criteria.

This will include wave and currents, and beach and subtidal topography.\r \r Packages of work will be called off as and when required by the Authority (or Authorities named below and able to use the Framework Agreement). \r There is no guarantee of work for the successful contractor, the allocation of work will be based on the Individual Authority's or Groups of Authorities' requirements and subject to available funding.\r \r \r 2.1.1 Sefton Council are the contracting Authority, contracting on behalf of the Authorities below:\r \r Wirral Council\r West Lancashire Borough Council\r Fylde Council\r Blackpool Council\r Wyre Council\r Lancaster City Council\r South Lakeland District Council\r Barrow Borough Council\r Copeland Borough Council\r Allerdale Borough Council\r \r Some of the Authorities may call off services themselves or Sefton Council will call off services on their behalf.\r \r \r 2.1.2 The Authorities/Organisations below may decide to use the Framework to call off services directly:\r \r Conwy County Borough Council\r Denbighshire County Council\r Flintshire County Council\r Scarborough Borough Council\r East Riding of Yorkshire Council\r New Forest District Council\r Teignbridge District Council\r Vale of Glamorgan Council\r \r The Environment Agency\r \r
